I went from believing in one marriage for life to discovering that love, too, can be reinvented. I am the mother of three children, a mother at heart to three more, and a proud grandmother to grandchildren who continue to teach me to see the world through fresh eyes.

For more than fifty years, I taught English. Over time, that passion for teaching led me down an unexpected path: studying neuroscience, researching how we learn and sharing those ideas at international conferences and events.

My horizons also changed. From family holidays on the Argentine coast, I went on to explore Southeast Asia, the Sahara Desert, Europe and the Americas. Every journey reaffirmed a belief I have always held: our differences do not divide us; they enrich us.

I continue to learn from young people. Artificial intelligence challenges and excites me. Far from frightening me, the future sparks my curiosity.

Today, I choose to live with an open mind, a grateful heart and the certainty that it is always possible to begin again.
